There is a frame out there that suits you and we WILL find one that not only makes you feel great but looks good, fits perfectly and is comfortable to wear.
If you fancy a completely different look we can make it happen. We have the knowledge and experience to ensure your new spectacles feel just right and look great. You don’t need to worry about what colour or style you require leave it to us and you will be in safe hands.
We stock an extensive range of frames from inexpensive to designer to suit all ages, styles and budgets and are happy to order frames in if your preferred colour or size isn’t in stock. We do NOT stock poor quality or end-of-line frames.
It is important to us that you walk out of our door feeling confident that you have made the right choice.
Spectacle Lenses
We specialise in high quality lenses and are proud to be accredited as Seiko, Zeiss, and Rodenstock lens specialists. We are able to supply from any manufacturer when necessary to find the right lens for you, your prescription, and your budget.
We provide the latest lens technology for your new eyewear to suit you and your pocket! including:
- Extra thin and light weight lenses
- Anti Reflection coated lenses – to reduce glare and improve the cosmetic appearance of your lenses. Now available with improved water and condensation resistance, making them less likely to steam up and easier to clean. Especially recommended for lenses within rimless frames and with thinner lens materials, ideal for driving and working on a VDU screen.
- UV protection – UV protection is a necessity for a pair of sun spectacles as it protects the eye from harmful Ultra Violet radiation. A UV coating is highly recommended for patients who have had a cataract removed. On removing the cataract the eye’s natural protection from UV radiation is lost
- Hard coatings/anti scratch supplied on most of our lenses at no extra cost
- Photochromic lenses – change colour according to changing sunlight/UV levels. Latest lenses react quicker enabling wearers to switch from indoors to outdoors and vice versa more comfortably.
- Polycarbonate/Trivex lenses for sports

Prescription Sunglasses
Prescription sunglasses provide you with all the visual correction of your glasses or contact lenses as well as important protection from the sun’s glare and UV rays.
We can fit most of our designer spectacles with prescription sunglass lenses, with your choice of tint, so you can look good in the sun, be safe with full UV protection and enjoy the clarity of vision you expect from your spectacles. We have a 50% off offer on several ranges including Wolf, William Morris, Radley and Police prescription sunglasses when purchased with any complete pair of spectacles, £129 or over. The Police offer only applies when purchasing a frame £189 or over or progressive lenses from our Excellence range. All offers include single vision lenses, Add ons apply.
Prescription sunglasses are available with single vision, bi-focal or varifocal lenses and can be created with a single tint, graduated tint, mirrored effect or polarised lens design.
